KLM Adds Extra Capacity for Flights to Bonaire Over the Summer Months

The summer is a popular time for those from the European Netherlands to visit the Caribbean Netherlands, and KLM is adding in extra capacity on its flights to Bonaire to accommodate the additional passengers.

The route between Amsterdam and Bonaire/Aruba will be served with an Airbus 330-200, and will also be flown on Sunday. There will be six weekly flights between Bonaire/Aruba and Amsterdam during the months of summer vacation.

“We are very pleased to deploy additional capacity on this route and hope it shall meet the high demand during the summer holiday period,” says Pieter de Man, Regional General Manager Air France KLM Caribbean and Suriname.

Three of the Five Top World Airlines Provide Regular Service to Bonaire

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has recently published their Economic Report for the January 2016 Air Transport Monthly Monitor.  A portion of this report ranks the airlines of the world.

Three of the five top-ranked airlines provide regularly scheduled service to Bonaire.  From North America, both United Airlines and Delta are respectively ranked #2 and #3, while from Europe, KLM-Air France is ranked #5 worldwide.
